Seadrift Bed and Breakfast – COVID information
The safety of our guests is a priority and we review our response to the COVID-19 pandemic on a daily basis. We continue to follow the guidance provided by the World Health Organisation, Visit Scotland and Scotland’s Best B&B.
We will encourage and facilitate social distancing as best we can and will only be taking reservations for two out of our three rooms.
Our usual relaxed breakfast room will have to undergo some changes for everyone’s safety and, although it is not our preferred way to serve our guests, this would appear to be best practice. So we may well have to agree breakfast times so that guests can eat separately.
Guests will be able to enjoy our much acclaimed breakfast as normal, or, if they would prefer, they can have a continental style breakfast that we will leave for them in the dining room fridge.
On the day of departure, it is imperative that guests check out by 10am at the latest, and we request that guests do not check in until 5pm at the earliest. We are a small Bed and Breakfast run by the two of us. Our standards of cleanliness have always been excellent, as witnessed by our reviews, however, we now would like extra time to deep clean the rooms and ensure the highest standards are met.
In the unlikely event that any of our guests become unwell during their stay with us we reserve the right to cancel subsequent bookings. These would of course have a full refund, and we would endeavour, but cannot guarantee, to assist guests with finding alternative local accommodation. To avoid such a situation we would request that you don’t travel if you are experiencing COVID symptoms. Should you develop COVID symptoms before or during you travel we would far rather offer you a full refund than upset the holiday plans of other guests.
